Visitors!

Kris and I officially had our first visitors in our home!!! My parents came to visit us in Beaumont this weekend. We met them in Houston on Saturday and went to NASA. Then on Sunday, we went to church, my mom taught me how to make a brisket.. YUM, we went to see Lamar (were Kris is in school at), and we got to spend some quality time together. SO much fun! Thanks for coming to see us Mom and Dad!!!! :)

AND my parents were SO nice to buy me a keyboard while they were here!!! Now I can practice every day! YAHOO!

RUT..

We are in SUCH a lazy rut.. This is how most of our days go. Kris goes to school at 8am, I go to work around 8 or 9.. We both come home around 5:30ish. I make dinner. Kris does the dishes. We go to the church so I can practice the piano (I'm the new primary pianist). And then we come home and SIT SIT SIT.. SOOOO LAZY! I haven't even put the laundry in the dryer that I put in the washing machine 2 days ago. I need a gym membership like pronto.. For real!

PS. My parents are coming to visit this weekend! We are excited to break the cycle...

NEW CAR! :)

We got a new car this week! AND I'm very excited about it. It is a 2007 Toyota Camry LE. We sold the Trailblazer on Sunday (we didn't mean too.. they came over with cash). Does that qualify as working?!? ANYWAY.. And we bought this on Monday!!!

I had never been to a dealership to look at cars before and it was quite the experience. I swear, if one more person asked me "how much do you want to pay a month?" I was going to punch them in the face. BUT after about 5 salesman trying to talk us up, we meet a very nice one named Tim, who actually took to time to listen to us. AND he found us this little beauty. It was a trade-in that hadn't even been cleaned yet. WE LOVE IT.. and the gas mileage :)

One year later...

2011 is here. Kinda crazy if you ask me! 2010 was the best year of both our lives. AND SO much happened to us in one year!!!!

We got engaged on January 12th
I moved to Texas from Utah March 1st
Kris graduated from BYU on April 24th
We got married in Salt Lake on July 31st
We moved to Beaumont, Tx on August 6th
Kris started Grad School at Lamar on August 23rd
AND brother got married in Salt Lake on October 9th
Huuuuhhhhhh...

THEN.. New Years Eve this year..

What a difference a year makes! We look forward to a MUCH quieter 2011... :)
